Salamander Challenge and INSEAD Giving Day

In January 2017, INSEAD, in collaboration with the IAA and the IAF, launched the Salamander Challenge — a joint global initiative to raise awareness about the importance of investing in the school and promoting Business as a Force for Good.

Four Salamander mascots – Sami, Sally, Sadie and Lenny – toured the globe with INSEAD alumni, students, faculty and staff to spread the message. The initiative brought together alumni from across generations and continents and culminated in the first-ever INSEAD Giving Day on 21 February.

In total, more than €320,000 were raised from over 700 donors across 56 countries. The majority of the gifts supported the Dean’s Annual Fund.
