Lifetime giving recognition
The INSEAD Circle of Patrons
The INSEAD Circle of Patrons, created in 1995, recognises a distinguished group of alumni and friends who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the school. Individual donors who contribute €1 million or more and organisations that contribute €3 million or more become members of the Circle. INSEAD honours the support of the Circle of Patrons on campus honour rolls, in the annual donors report and at prestigious events.
The Salamander Awards and Donor Pins
To recognise cumulative giving from Alumni and Friends, Salamander Awards and Donor pins were created respectively in 1987 and 2012. The Salamander was originally the insignia of François I and later the city of Fontainebleau. This mythical creature, representing the virtue of perseverance, was deemed fitting for recognition of cumulative giving. The Salamander is also the symbol of the INSEAD Alumni Association. INSEAD recognises Salamander holders on campus honour rolls, in the annual donors report and at select Dean’s Leadership Receptions.
Annual giving recognition
The INSEAD Investors’ Circle
The INSEAD Investors’ Circle, created in 2016, celebrates the school’s most committed annual donors. Through their annual gifts, this outstanding group is critical to our mission to be “The Business School for the World”. Gifts at any of the Investors’ Circle levels ensure that INSEAD continues to reach new heights of excellence. Membership in the INSEAD Investors’ Circle includes distinct recognition in the Donors Report, networking opportunities and special invitations to select events.
